| Margaret Boyle was born in Ormstown, Quebec and educated in Nova Scotia and Ontario. She has a B.F.A. in Visual Arts with a minor in Art History from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, a B.F.A. in Art Education from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design as well as Computer and Multimedia training from Concordia University. Margaret has extensive teaching experience both in schools and other settings. Her art background is varied and she is competent in a range of art disciplines. She has exhibited in 12 group and solo shows. The Canadian National Museum of Science and Technology has two of her baskets in its collection. She has shown at the Museum of Textiles in Toronto. Her artwork incorporates photography, writing, weaving, painting, drawing, beadwork, quilting, printmaking, basketry, ceramics and collage. | |||
