| Lucy Horgan obtained her B.F.A. in 1989 from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design where she specialized in ceramics, painting, and art education. She also holds a Diploma in Ceramics Technology from John Abbott College in Ste-Anne-de Bellevue, Québec as well as a Social Sciences diploma from Collège Edouard Montpetit in Longueil, Québec. Lucy has been teaching ceramics, pottery, and multi-media classes since 1984 at such institutions as the Glebe Community Centre, the Ottawa Montessori School, the Canadian Postal Museum, the National Aviation Museum and the National Gallery of Canada. She has been teaching at the Ottawa School of Art since 1987 in the School's Saturday classes, summer camps, and outreach programs for children and teens. |
