Penelope's career has been transitory in nature, developing her art practice in a variety of cities across Canada and beyond. Her main areas of intrigue are ceramics and sculpture. She has acquired an MFA from Concordia University and a BFA from the University of Ottawa, plus numerous awards and scholarships. Her work has been exhibited nationally and abroad. Recent exhibitions include: the 9th biennale nationale de ceramique, Trois Rivieres, PQ; La Centrale, Montreal, PQ;and SAW Gallery, Ottawa, ON. Some of her work and writings are to be featured in an upcoming book on international ceramics prospectively titled, Sexpots: Ceramics and Sexualities, by artist/author Paul Mathieu, Vancouver, BC.
