Carla was born in Hull where she continues to reside today. She holds a commercial art and design diploma from Algonquin College, a B.A. in Fine Art from the University of Ottawa, and an M.A. degree in Fine Art from Laval University, Québec. In addition to teaching drawing and directed studio courses at the Ottawa School of Art since 1987, Carla is also on the faculty of the Visual Arts Department at the University of Ottawa and has taught at Laval University and the Université du Québec à Hull. She is an accomplished artist who exhibits annually in group and solo shows in Ontario and Québec. Her work can also be found in private and public collections.
