2009 Holiday Fundraising Art Sale Information
You are invited to the opening receptions on Thursday, November 26, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Ottawa School of Art Gallery in the ByWard Market and on Sunday, November 29, 2009 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m at the Orleans Campus Gallery. The School will be presenting ‘Best in Show’ awards, sponsored by local patrons at both openings. Thomas Westran Memorial Bursaries will be presented to adult general program students and four scholarships will also be given to students and alumni of the three-year Fine Arts Diploma Program at the downtown campus reception.

The funds raised from this sale will support the Ottawa School of Art’s programming, such as; community outreach, the bursary program, gallery exhibitions and collaborative community events.

The Ottawa School of Art offers Credit Programs at the Main Campus and a full range of seasonal community level art courses, specialized short courses and workshops at both locations. Children’s and Teens courses, March Break and Summer Camps are also offered at each campus.

The Ottawa School of Art, Main Campus is located at 35 George Street in the ByWard Market. The new Orleans Campus is located at 245 Centrum Boulevard in the Shenkman Arts Centre.

Admission to the gallery is always free.

Call for Submissions:

The dates for submitting artwork are Thursday, November 19, Friday November 20 and Saturday, November 21, 2009 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. (EST). You must submit your work(s) and contract(s) at the Campus you intend to exhibit at.
