A knowledge and understanding of anatomy is essential for artists in all fields who are working with the human form, such as animation, sculpture and illustration. This course will feature a study of bones, muscles, skin, and proportions of the human body through drawings from the nude model. Structure and relationships which make up the body will help the student to develop the figure in an effective and realistic manner. Handouts will be provided throughout the course. Students will work on two creative projects at home and in class.
