Figurative artists often communicate particular ideas and explore style in direct response to the model. In order to articulate a personal vision students will undergo completing three projects in which they begin by producing their idea using one figure and move toward creating a scene of action. As drawing and painting abilities advance students explore figure painting within contemporary and historical contexts.
