061 | THE BODY IN THE ROUND (B) | INTRO - INTER
This course will introduce the basic principles of modeling wax and clay as it relates to capturing the essence of the human figure. Two models: one male, one female will give extended pose over four sessions each, in order to give the participants ample time to explore the figure in the third dimension with the individual attention of the instructor. Each person will have the opportunity to complete two 1:5 scale figurative sculptures as well as learning about other modeling materials suited for studies of the figure.
