GENERAL EXHIBITION SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR SUPPORT MATERIALS

Important Notices:

1) Applications with support material that does not comply with the following guidelines will be considered incomplete and withdrawn from the selection process.

2) Do not send images of details of works. The jury will only view the first 10 images submitted.

VIDEO

• Tape, CD or DVD cued: 3 min.
• CD and DVD – submit works that can be accessed with one of the following plug-ins: QuickTime, RealPlayer, Shockwave, Windows Media Player or Flash.

DIGITAL IMAGES ON CD, DVD OR USB STICK

• Submit only PC-compatible JPG files with a resolution of 72 DPI only
• Submit files with a maximum size of 1024 x 768 pixels and 1MB
• Submit files in RGB, sRGB or grayscale colour mode only (no CYMK)
• Save images directly on the CD, DVD or USB stick without creating folders
• Mark the CD, DVD or USB stick clearly with your name and address
• Title each file (image) with a number, your initials, the year and title of the work (e.g. 01initialsyeartitle.jpg)
• Make sure the numbers correspond with the list of works included with the proposal
• Make sure the numbers for the first nine images start with zero (e.g. 01initialsyeartitle.jpg, 02initialsyeartitle.jpg…)

DON'T DO THESE THINGS

• Do not put any special characters, symbols, periods, quotation marks, etc (such as #/-“& etc.) in any file name
• Do not submit files in any type of presentation (e.g. Power Point)
• Do not submit compressed files (Winzip, Stuffit, etc.)
• Do not submit material that requires the download or installation of any software, plug-ins or extensions
• Do not submit support materials by e-mail
• Do not submit any other component of your proposal electronically on your CD, DVD or USB stick
 
Test your material before submission to ensure that it is properly formatted. It is your responsibility to ensure that your material reaches the jury in a readable format.
