This course is for people who are interested in learning the general practicalities of photography. Starting with the very basics of the medium and following its course from beginning to end, participants will understand the ins and outs of the photographic process. With sessions covering full explanations of the camera and the black and white darkroom, slide presentations and open discussions, participants will develop the necessary skills to solve technical problems and learn the know-how of visual composition.

Learn to get the most out of your digital camera and to correct and manipulate images using Photoshop. Establish a transitional workflow between traditional and digital photography. Covering all-important aspects of the medium, sessions are step-by-step examinations through the notions of the computer darkroom. Participants will learn to master these creative digital tools and work with the rich possibilities that the medium has to offer.
