This course is an in-depth view oriented to fully understand the black and white process, reviewing all its aspects, participants will learn to set and control quality standards and apply those principles to better express photographically. While participants are expected to have basic notions of photography, a review of the camera and darkroom is included. Other aspects of photography are also covered such as working with several sources of light, slide presentations and analysis of images. With hands-on sessions, participants gain experience and ability to work in photographic series and are encouraged to build a portfolio by developing a personal approach through the study of different subjects and styles.
