Artist Talks and Exhibitions
Artist Talks
The Ottawa School of Art hosts many artists talks throughout the year. These talks are given by our residency artists, exhibiting artists and visiting artists. The presentations are about an hour in length with a Q&A section and a viewing of the artist's artwork. The artist talks are free and without any admission fees. Some of the artists provide their talks online if they are unavailable to be at the OSA campuses. You can see the schedule for upcoming artists' talks by referencing the calendar on this page.
Exhibitions
The Ottawa School of Art, J.W. Stellick Gallery and Orleans Gallery exhibit local, national and international artists. These artists submit proposals to a selected jury and are chosen to exhibit in that fiscal year. Our Downtown campus Lee Matasi Gallery exhibits visiting artists, students, collectives and much more. We also have Offsite space at Preston Square that show local artists throughout the year. To see the upcoming exhibition schedule, you can refer to our Calendar on this page. Most of our exhibition artists offer artist talks and we always hold in person receptions for all the new art exhibitions at our main galleries.
