About the event

This exhibition is inspired by the quiet and powerful transformations unfolding within our Outreach programs.  In Métamorphose, students explore themes of growth and change through striking interpretations of caterpillars, cocoons, butterflies, and moths—natural emblems of evolution and possibility.

Please join us for the vernissage on March 7, from 11 am to 2 pm, with refreshments, food, an infusion of heart-warming color in the grayest of months, and a kaleidoscope of fluttering wings that promise to lift spirits high.

The exhibition features artworks from Outreach participants across nine partnerships: Tukimut (Inuuqatigiit Centre for Inuit Children), Operation Come Home, Winthrop Court Community House, Carlington Community Health Centre, Sandy Hill Community Health Centre, Rochester Heights, Rideau-Rockcliffe Community Resource Centre, John Howard Society, and Christie Lake Kids.

The OSA Outreach Program offers barrier-free art classes to children, youth and adults who face difficult economic or social circumstances and have limited access to structured art…
