2026 ByWard campus
Instructor’s Exhibition submission:
‘Call for work’

This year’s ByWard campus Instructor’s exhibition will run from September 3 to October 4. A vernissage
will be held on Thursday September 3 from 5 to 8 p.m.

OSA Instructors who have taught one or more courses through the ByWard, Kanata, or online campus’, from the spring semester of 2025 to the spring semester of 2026 can submit jpg. images, (72dpi), of three (3) different works for consideration. Include the following information for each artwork: the title, medium, size (height, width, depth), the year completed and its insurance value. Works must be completed since August 2024, (within the last two years of the 2026 exhibition). Participants must submit a current artist biography, and an artist statement, to be in the show. These texts will be placed in the gallery for the exhibition.

The submission deadline for emailing your images, bio, CV, and statement to boutique@artottawa.ca is Friday June 27, 2025.

Participating instructor’s will be asked to bring in one of their three artworks, (soft-wrapped, to the second-floor admin. Office), no later than the week of August 17, 2026.

Please note:

• Submitting one image for consideration does not necessarily mean your work will be included in the show.

• Once a work has been selected for the show, no substitutions will be permitted.

• Artists must inform the gallery coordinator if ‘courtesy’ of another gallery is to be acknowledged for a specific artwork.

• Artworks exhibited in previous instructor exhibitions will not be considered.

• An honorarium of $82 will be issued to each participating instructor.

• The list of instructors is unusually large this year so please be mindful of the size of your submission pieces and be aware that works may be installed in groupings or one over the other in the gallery rather than in the traditional ‘single line’ around the gallery.
