About the event
Inspired by the Group of Seven, students of the John Howard Society of Ottawa's Adult Education Program turned to the landscape as a way of looking inward. Common Ground brings together scenes of nature that speak to memory, emotion, and the shared search for belonging and peace.
We inhabit the same landscape, but our interpretations are different. In these divisive times, we recognize the importance of coming together to find common ground within different perspectives.
We invite you to celebrate our artists and to enjoy our 4th exhibition at the Ottawa School of Art.
Vernissage: Thursday, November 5th, 5pm to 7pm in the Lee Matasi Gallery and Vitrines.
Exhibition dates: November 5th to 18th, 2026
