Giving Tuesday isn’t just a day to donate — it’s a moment to reflect on the kind of community we want to build together.
After a weekend of buying, with Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it’s a day for belonging. Around the world, millions unite to share what they can to create something lasting. Here in Ottawa, that means ensuring everyone, no matter their background, has access to the joy and healing of art.
When you give to the Ottawa School of Art, you’re not just supporting classes; you’re fuelling creativity, confidence, and connection across our city.
Together, we've reached over 6,300 participants through our network of community partners
Our Outreach classes are offered at no cost to participants — no enrolment fees, no art supply costs, and no transportation barriers. Classes are held right in neighbourhoods: at community houses, centres, and local organizations that already feel like home.

Community in Action: The Bottom Line Drawing Group
The Bottom Line Drawing Group has quietly built a culture of generosity, donating any surplus funds to support our visual arts in Ottawa. Their contributions to our Outreach Program ensure children, youth, adults, and seniors in vulnerable communities have the supplies they need to create.
We started with scholarships and supplies for youth at risk and expanded to adults and seniors. Now, we’re in community centres, housing facilities, and partner organizations, bringing art to people where they are.
